As we have spent years getting to know our ladies and we see in them the desire to grow and to learn. In Africa, the literacy rate is shockingly low. Most of our ladies can speak English but they can’t read or write in their own language. The Lord has laid it on our hearts to give them literacy training in English. It gives them an opportunity to read and to be able to have Bible study material available to them that they do not have in their own language. It has also been beneficial due to the fact that not all languages have Bibles readily available to them. The classroom is opened to any adult who wishes to attend. We provide certificates for each level successfully completed. Graduates from the training are given a Bible so they can study the scriptures and grow.
We hope that these women and the women in America will be able to connect as prayer partners and encourage one another in the faith through correspondence.
